Achieving the ambitious goals of an EU-funded project requires solid governance and professional management of the project implementation. One may think this can be easily achieved without any support from professionals in project management.
Despite many organizations are very well equipped with internal resources showing a solid project management profile and a remarkable experience with EU funds (e.g. post-award support units), others don’t, or just don’t want (or can’t!) to dedicate their internals to EU project management.
The latter would like to externalize part of the management responsibilities to a professional expert.
